Vaguely reminiscent of Neoclassical period mourning miniatures that were classically watercolor painted on ivory, mine are oil on tiny wood panels.

Each paintings is mounted in a tin box with a hand-painted flower on the interior lid. They are all studies of faces from my 19th century photography collection.

These can be treated as an object or they can be mounted to the wall with a velcro hangers, etc. The boxes measure 2.5’ x 2” by 1.25” deep when closed.
